2009 Jackson State University vs Texas Southern FOOTBALL pictures-PART 1 : Jackson, MS..............Saturday, October 17, 2008. The Texas Southern University Tigers came to Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium for SWAc action against the Jackson State University Tigers. This years weather has been a factor for the fans. This day had the temperature in the 60's and later dropped in the 40's late in the evening. Tailgating was at a all time low. The Texas Southern Ocean of Soul Marching Band with the Motion of the Ocean and the Jackson State University Sonic Boom of the South with the Prancing J-Settes stepped up to the plate to make it a great game in environment for those that braved the COOOOOLLLLLDDDDD weather!!!!!! The Texa sSouthern Tigers won this battle 19-17 over Jackson State. PART 1 of my pictures are tailgating and game prep. Also both band stadium intros final pics are the game coin toss.

The result ended up SU winning 68-0. I left right @ halftime because the raining started to come down harder. Central State band was about to perform and left the field as the rain continued. 2009 Alcorn State University Football Meet and Greet : Alcorn State, MS....Saturday, August 29, 2009...Alcorn State fans, Supporters had a chance to meet and greet the 2009 Edition of the ASU Football Team. Fans where able to get autographs from team favorites as well as take photos with their favorite players. The event was kicked off with a scrimmage at 10 AM in Jack Spinks Stadium. “I think it’s a great event. It gives the fans a chance to meet the players up close and personal. They (the fans) will have the opportunity to put a face with a name and numbers,” said Head Coach Earnest Collins, Jr. This family event will also feature the ASU Sounds of Dyn-o-Mite.

2009 Jackson State University Tiger Bash Pictures : Jackson, MS......Saturday, August 8, 2009...................On the campus of Jackson State University in the New JSU Student Center, Tigers fans gathered to mix and mingle with football coaches and players in JSU's annual Media Day/Tiger Bash. During the media day from 1:30-2:30pm , We the Jackson, Mississippi Media (Channel 16, WJTV, the Clarion Ledger and the Mississippi Link) interviewed six JSU players (Trae Rutland, Marcus Jamison, Malcolm Palmer, Sam Washington, Mikael Harshaw and Eric Perri) and Head Coach Rick Comegy after he talked about fall camp and the upcoming season. The Crowd was at the doors lined up and ready to meet the 2009 JSU Tigers and wish them luck this season. Parents, Friends, Visitors, Faculty, & Alumni and many happy and FULLY excited children where in attendance Coach Comegy and his players signed autographs for Tiger fans. Following the autograph session JSU fans were treated to a Michael Jackson video and a 2008 JSU highlight reel. The rest of the 2009 Tigers roster and entire coaching staff joined the bash later to a standing room ovation. The JSU Cheerleaders performed for the crowd to hype them up. Terrell Lewis and the Baby Tigers performed. The JSU Book Store had a fashion show for the various Fall 2009 Season Jackson State University clothes in stock. Dr. Hilliard Lackey, JSU Alumni Relations gave a speech to the crowd. As always when Dr. Lackey is on the microphone it is very informative and entertaining. Yolonda Brown introduced all of the JSU Championship Coaches in the areas that obtained SWAC Gold. JSU Director of Athletics , Robert Braddy talked the importance of spreading the word out to others about becoming Season Tickets Holders. Comegy introduced JSU Hall of Fame head coach W.C. Gorden before taking the podium to give Tiger fans his thoughts on the upcoming season. 2008 SWAC Championship : I am sorry for the incovience. But due to circumstances beyond my control. I have been told by the Jackson State Office of Communications/Public Relations/Athletic Media Relations that I can not display ANY JSU pictures on my site. AS it will affect my credentials for any JSU event. This act is only against ME and NO OTHER photographer. Thanks for the support I have been getting in this mater.
